The Desert Rock Energy Project appears to be just about dead. Many organizations and individuals worked hard to see this day, and all of us should breathe a sigh of relief. Yet we cannot afford to rest, because those who would use and abuse our sacred homelands for profit do not rest. In the coming weeks this blog will be posting information about struggles related to the other coal burning power plants, and the mines that feed them, in and around the Navajo Nation.
